Fruit Fertility
This series of shoots was based solely on the premise of fruits being used as a representation of women’s fertility. This representation confines women and expects a tame response. These women are anything but tame, taking it back in their own ways.
Taking it back
This project was incredibly fun. It allowed women to look at every fruit seed as an unwelcome advance, rude comment, or cat call. The confidence in these woman shone bright. They all displayed beautifully how delicate the social standards we live by are.
